• Police Encounter With Dog Leads To Tragic Shooting In Brooklyn Center (wjon.com) — A trespassing call at the Speedway on Brooklyn Blvd. in Brooklyn Center escalated Monday when a man with arrest warrants allegedly resisted officers and his unleashed dog attacked them. Police say they used less-lethal tools before fatally shooting the dog; two injured officers are expected to recover, and the suspect was hospitalized, then booked into Hennepin County Jail as the case is reviewed.
