1. Highway 252/I-94 Environmental Review (state.mn.us) — Eligible Brooklyn Center residents and property owners can help decide whether proposed Highway 252/I-94 noise walls get built. MnDOT has mailed ballots to those whose properties would receive at least five decibels of noise reduction. Voting is scheduled through December 4, with meetings November 17–19 and a possible extension if needed. 
2. Keeping Up With Dave looks to Robbinsdale for their Festive Holiday Events (ccxmedia.org) — Brooklyn Center’s Snow Many Traditions celebration is scheduled for December 5, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Community Center. It joins a neighborhood holiday lineup that includes Small Business Saturday in downtown Robbinsdale on November 28 and a free tree lighting at Robbinsdale City Hall on December 1.
3. Dine Out for RISE Prep Academy at Davanni's Brooklyn Center (spokesman-recorder.com) — Dinner at Davanni’s in Brooklyn Center on November 13 will help support RISE Prep Academy, a new Twin Cities middle school program for Black boys. The restaurant will donate 20% of sales from 4 to 8 p.m. toward outreach and student engagement before the program welcomes 25 sixth graders in fall 2027.
4. Rep. Ilhan Omar Wins Reelection to Congress Despite Trump's Immigration Investigation (blacknews.com) — Rep. Ilhan Omar has won another term representing Minnesota’s 5th Congressional District, which includes Brooklyn Center, according to the report. The Democratic incumbent defeated Republican John Nagel in the November 3 election, securing a fifth House term after first winning the seat in 2018.
