1. Highway 252/I-94 Environmental Review (state.mn.us) — Eligible Brooklyn Park property owners and residents can help decide whether proposed Hwy. 252/I-94 noise walls get built. MnDOT has mailed ballots to those whose properties would receive at least a five-decibel noise reduction. The listed voting deadline is Dec. 4, with meetings Nov. 17–19 and possible extensions if additional voting is needed.
   

2. Keeping Up With Dave looks to Robbinsdale for their Festive Holiday Events (ccxmedia.org) — Brooklyn Park's Hmong New Year Celebration is scheduled for Dec. 12, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Brooklyn Park Activity Center. It's among several upcoming holiday gatherings highlighted alongside Robbinsdale's Small Business Saturday on Nov. 28 and free tree lighting on Dec. 1.
   

3. Brooklyn Park felon federally sentenced for possessing a firearm (hometownsource.com) — A Brooklyn Park man has been sentenced to 71 months in federal prison after pleading guilty to illegally possessing a firearm. Prosecutors said Antonio Depries Arnold, 34, admitted owning a pistol found near him during an April 2025 search that also uncovered additional guns and drugs at his residence.
   

4. Alleged ‘Highs' gang member sentenced to more than 27 years in prison for Minneapolis fatal shooting (meigsindypress.com) — A man also accused in a 2024 Brooklyn Park killing has received more than 27 years in prison for a separate Minneapolis homicide. Marquan Deshaun Tucker, 21, pleaded guilty to aiding and abetting second-degree murder in the 2023 death of Patrick Henderson outside a nightclub.
