Burnsville Fire Department Hosts Cinco De Mayo Fundraiser

The Arbors at Ridges Senior Living Community is hosting a Cinco de Mayo-themed lunch to benefit the Burnsville Fire Department.

BURNSVILLE, MN — The Arbors at Ridges Senior Living Community in Burnsville is once again hosting a Cinco de Mayo-themed lunch to benefit the Burnsville Fire Department. The event is taking place, Thursday, May 4 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Arbors at Ridges (13897 Community Drive, Burnsville.) The cost is $5 for adults, $2 for children.

Members of the public are invited to attend. Lunch will include tacos, chips, salsa, churros and nonalcoholic
margaritas. Members of the Burnsville Fire Department, as well as live entertainment will be
on hand. Raffle tickets will also be available.

All proceeds from the event will go toward purchasing new CPR mannequins for use during community CPR classes, according to a news release.

Last year, the event raised $2,500 for the department, which allowed them to purchase rehabilitation supplies for Burnsville’s emergency responders, city officials said.
