Burnsville High School: Potential Fight With Weapons Reported
School officials began investigating after parents reported rumors about a possible fight.

BURNSVILLE, MN — The Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District (ISD 191) says school is continuing as normal Friday after rumors spread about a potential fight involving weapons at Burnsville High School.
School administrators began investigating after parents reported the rumors.
Officials "identified the students who were potentially involved, and worked with the Burnsville Police Department to take steps to ensure there is no danger to the school community," the district said in a statement Friday morning.

The rumored fight stemmed from a "dispute in the community."
The district also noted there is a district-wide phone outage Friday, and calls from "external sources" are not getting through.

The district is currently experiencing technical problems with phones. Calls from external numbers are not coming through, so you may not be able to reach your school at this time. We are working to identify the issue and find a resolution.
