A Burnsville man has been jailed on suspicion of sexually assaulting two girls at a Minnesota Bible camp.

A Burnsville man has been jailed on suspicion of sexually assaulting two girls at a Minnesota Bible camp.

The Pioneer Press reported that Semaj Avyiair Okongwu, 18, who was a fellow camper, faces two charges of third-degree criminal sexual conduct after he was accused of assaulting the two girls at Sand Hill Lake Bible Camp in the northwest part of the state.

The alleged incidents took place July 25 and July 28, according to the criminal complaint.

One of the girls told police that Okongwu asked her to go on a walk in the woods, and once in the woods, Okongwu grabbed her and kissed her, and that she tried to push him away. Later, Okongwu allegedly forcibly removed her clothes and raped her.

According to the complaint, in a separate incident, another girl said at one point Okongwu uncovered his genitals and pulled her hand onto them.

The age of the girls is not listed on the complaint.
