Burnsville Storage Burglary: Guns, Artwork, Middle Eastern Rugs Stolen

Burnsville police believe that a group of individuals used a rental van to steal more than $50,000 worth of items.

The Burnsville Police Department is seeking the public’s help to provide information related to recent storage unit burglaries. Surveillance video shows items being stolen from two units in a Burnsville storage rental facility on Oct. 29 and 31.

From the video, police believe that a group of individuals used a rental van to get away with more than $50,000 worth of items.

Items reported stolen in Burnsville include firearms, original pieces of artwork and Middle Eastern rugs.

An anonymous individual is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the identification, arrest and successful prosecution of those involved in the burglaries and recovery of the stolen property.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Burnsville Detective David Luchsinger at (952) 641-1120. The identity of anyone providing information can be protected.
