FARMINGOTN, MN — A 38-year-old pedestrian was killed Saturday night while crossing a road in Farmington. The fatal crash occurred on northbound Highway 3 at 209th Street West just before 11 p.m. Authorities say April Janeen Sterling, of Farmington, was crossing the highway from the east to the west when she was struck by a northbound Hyundai Sante Fe. Sterling was pronounced dead at the scene. The Minnesota State Patrol says the roads were icy and snow at the time of the crash.Image via Shutterstock
