25-Year-Old Burnsville Woman Killed In Highway 13 Crash
The deadly crash closed eastbound Highway 13 in Burnsville for several hours Monday afternoon.

BURNSVILLE, MN — A crash left a 25-year-old woman dead and closed eastbound Highway 13 in Burnsville for several hours Monday afternoon. The collision happened just after 3:30 p.m.
The Minnesota State Patrol says a 2015 Toyota Rav4 was in the right lane on Highway 13 approaching Dakota County Road 11.
A box truck was ahead of the Toyota and was stopped due to a red light at the intersection. The light turned green and the box truck began to slowly move forward when he was struck from behind by the Toyota, according to authorities.

Toyota driver Shukri Yusuf Mohamed, of Burnsville, was killed in the crash. She was not wearing her seat belt, according to authorities.
