Important Winter Dates for Burnsville School District 191

Students in Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191 will be on winter break from Thursday, Dec. 22 through Monday, Jan. 2. All schools will be back in session on Tuesday, Jan. 3.

During winter break, school buildings will be closed with the exception of the Burnsville High School main office, those schools hosting Project KIDS school-age child care programs (Gideon Pond, Rahn, Harriet Bishop), pre-scheduled events through the district’s Community Education department, and athletic practices and events at Burnsville High School.

The district's Welcome Center and Community Education office, both located at Diamondhead Education Center, will be closed Dec. 23-26 and Dec. 30-Jan. 2. Burnsville High School’s main office will also be closed those days as well, according to a news release.

Diamondhead and all District 191 schools will reopen on Jan. 3.
