Make-Up Days Scheduled Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District

Four days of school were canceled thanks to snow and dangerously cold temperatures last week.

BURNSVILLE, MN — Last week's snow and dangerously cold temperatures led to four days of school being canceled for Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191. The district has since announced it will make up two of those days on Feb. 27 and March 11.

Those days were scheduled to be professional development or work days for teachers, according to a news release. They will now be regular school days for both staff and students.

This change will not affect the conferences beginning Feb. 27, the district said.

"We value every day our students are in our schools and learning," Superintendent Cindy Amoroso said in a statement.

"We also know that more snow days are a possibility, so we don’t want to miss the chance to use these two days to make up for missed time."
