A little back round of Team Makies story.........Every day, thousands of babies are born too soon, too small and often very sick. We're walking and raising money because we want to do something about this.  The money we raise will support March of Dimes research and programs that help moms have full-term pregnancies and babies begin healthy lives. And it will be used to bring comfort and information to families with a baby in newborn intensive care. 

We very excited to be a part of March for Babies for the 3rd year in a row and hoping to make this the best year ever.  Our daughter Makaila was born 6 weeks early and was in the NCIU for 11 days and leaving the hospital without our daughter was the one of the hardest things we have ever gone through. I am very grateful to have found this foundation and our family has made this an annual thing. We are Team Makie.  Here is the link if you want to check out our page.
