Motorcyclist Dies In Burnsville Crash Saturday

The crash happened just after 3 a.m. Saturday on the Highway 13 West frontage road.

BURNSVILLE, MN — A 45-year-old man died early Saturday in a motorcycle crash in Burnsville. The fatal incident happened just after 3 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 13 West frontage road and Sheridan Avenue.

The rider, Michael Joseph Fitch, died from blunt force chest injuries sustained in the crash, according to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner.

No other cars were involved in the crash, reports KMSP. Fitch was not wearing a helmet, according to police.

He had no permanent address, officials said.

Burnsville police and the Minnesota State Patrol are investigating the crash.
