• Community Education earns award for Tinsel, Treats and Giving (hometownsource.com) — District 191 Community Education just earned a statewide award for its Tinsel, Treats and Giving event, a free holiday celebration in Burnsville that also provides food, winter clothing, and gifts to families in need. Powered by partners like Burnsville Police, city staff, and the Burnsville Lions Club, the gathering now draws more than 1,300 people and is praised for building belonging and support across the community.
