Police Searching For 2 Vacuum Salesmen In Rural Minnesota
The Benton County Sheriff's Office is currently looking for two men who say they're selling vacuums in the area.
BENTON COUNTY, MN — The Benton County Sheriff's Office is currently looking for two men who say they're selling vacuums in the area. The men have been reported for loitering.
On April 18, a van stopped at a residence in far eastern Benton County. Comments about this vehicle on social media indicate the vehicle may have stopped at other residences in the area of the Benton/Mille Lacs County line, police say.
The occupants of the vehicle, two men, said they were in the area selling vacuums and other cleaning appliances, according to authorities. The home owner at the home in Benton County reported the men loitered outside the residence for some time before coming to the door.

The vehicle is a 2002 Dodge Caravan, MN license 454TNL.

At this time, this vehicle and these men are not associated with any crimes, but police would like to identify the men and find out more about their reason for being in the area.
