Authorities say a 2003 Porsche Boxster was traveling at "a high rate of speed" when it rear-ended a 2015 Chevy pickup truck early Friday.
CARVER COUNTY, MN — At least one person was injured Friday in a crash involving a quickly-traveling Porsche on Highway 5 at 6:39 a.m. Authorities say a 2003 Porsche Boxster was traveling at "a high rate of speed" when it rear-ended a 2015 Chevy pickup truck. The pickup was pushed into the right ditch of westbound Highway 5, according to the Minnesota State Patrol (MSP).
The driver of the pickup truck, Robert Joel Martinez, 44, of Richfield, suffered non-life threatening injuries. MSP has not yet released information on the driver of the Porsche.
Road conditions were reportedly dry at the time of the incident. The Carver County Sheriff's Office assisted in the response.
