• City of Delano City Council/Economic Development Authority SUMMARY Tuesday, April 28, 2026 7:00 PM (delanoheraldjournal.com) — Delano’s City Council recently reviewed how to toughen enforcement of zoning violations, considered using temporary moratoriums to study development, and backed a new Central Park pavilion rental fee structure. Councilmembers also directed staff to remove the state flag from chambers and explore creating a dedicated City of Delano flag. 
• NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING In the Matter of the Request for Abandonment Regarding Wright Judicial Ditch No. 1 (delanoheraldjournal.com) — Wright County is holding a June 16 public hearing on whether to abandon Judicial Ditch No. 1, which would end county responsibility for maintaining that drainage system. Residents, including those in the Delano area, can attend in Buffalo or submit written objections beforehand if they’re concerned about future drainage and land impacts.
