Recent University of Florida graduate Delia Rose Sauer has joined the Duluth Media Group to cover local music, arts, authors, tourism impacts, and event previews, and she's inviting residents to send story ideas and winter-survival tips directly to her email.
   

2. Woman hospitalized after stabbing in Duluth; suspect arrested (northernnewsnow.com) — Police say a woman was stabbed Tuesday afternoon on the 2000 block of West Second Street in Duluth and taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Officers arrested a 25-year-old suspect at the scene, who is now in St. Louis County Jail on a pending second-degree assault charge as the investigation continues.
   

3. Chum asks for community support to build Thanksgiving meals for families in need (wdio.com) — Duluth's CHUM is gearing up to provide hundreds of complete Thanksgiving meal boxes to local families, but they need more community help to meet the growing demand. With SNAP cuts and job losses straining budgets, organizers are asking Duluth churches, groups, and residents to donate food or organize drives so every family can enjoy a full holiday meal.
   

4. House District 8B candidates outline competing priorities in Duluth forum (wdio.com) — Voters in Duluth's House District 8B heard starkly different priorities as Rep. Liish Kozlowski and challenger Shawn Savela debated fraud oversight, mining, data centers, climate, and homelessness at a local forum. Their contrasting visions for downtown safety, housing, and economic development could shape how Duluth's needs are represented at the Capitol after November's election.
