Free talk about photographing Antarctica, South Georgia & the Falkland Islands

Event Details

Eagan Municipal Center

It’s springtime in Antarctica, a fantastic destination for photographers with its icebergs, snowy mountains and diverse wildlife. Please join us for a free talk about photographing in the Antarctic and on the nearby islands of the Falklands and South Georgia.

This event on Thursday, Nov. 5 at 7 p.m. is hosted by the Minnesota Valley Photography Club, a group of photography enthusiasts in the south metro. Minnesota professional photographer and world traveler Don Tredinnick will talk about his approach to photographing Antarctic landscapes and birds, and offer tips on traveling to this remote and starkly beautiful region.

You’re welcome to attend MVPC’s general meeting at Eagan City Hall—a great opportunity to talk to Club members about everything MVPC has to offer photographers of all aptitudes and skill levels—or attend the meeting virtually viaMS Teams.

City Hall is in the Eagan Municipal Center at 3830 Pilot Knob Road. Enter through the City Hall entrance off the main parking lot. If you’re not a member of MVPC, please email your request for MS Teams access to: mvpcinfo@googlegroups.com

See you at the meeting!
