DAKOTA COUNTY, MN — Seventeen people have died from coronavirus in Dakota County, according to the latest figures from the county and state health officials. More than 600 cases of the virus have been confirmed in the county.

Here are the latest statistics on COVID-19 in Dakota County:

  • Total cases: 623
  • 181 released from isolation
  • Median case age: 43
    • Dakota County has had two cases of COVID-19 in children 5 or younger
  • Cases ever hospitalized: 108
