Eagan Police Deal With Car Thefts
A few stolen cars, a female harassed on Facebook and graffiti are among items on the Nov. 22-25 bi-weekly blotter.

Cops stopped a male driver and a female passenger that were in a stolen vehicle Nov. 23 on the 1300 block of Town Centre Drive. Police found drugs inside the car. Both the male and female suspects were charged with fifth degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of stolen property.
A hot tub was vandalized on the 4000 block of Magnetite Point Nov. 22. Vandals allegedly entered the backyard and turned off the power to the hot tub heater, which caused it to freeze up.
A male suspect allegedly tried to cash stolen checks at the TCF Bank on the 3300 block of Denmark Avenue Nov. 22.

The back window was smashed out of a vehicle on the 3300 block of Denmark Avenue Nov. 22. Nothing appeared to be stolen out of the vehicle.
A mailbox was damaged around midnight on Nov. 23 on the 1800 block of Gold Trail; there was some plastic debris left behind. A neighbor allegedly heard the noise and saw a white truck leaving the area.

A tunnel on the 1200 block of Diffley Road was marked with lots of graffiti Nov. 23, including a black marijuana leaf and curse words.
A female suspect allegedly shoplifted on the 1900 block of Cliff Lake Road Nov. 23. The female suspect was sent to jail on some warrants and wasn't held on the theft charge.
A car was stolen from Eagan High School on Nov. 23.
A car was broken into on the 1200 block of Promenade Place. The suspect or suspects allegedly stole wine, a briefcase and some clothing on Nov. 23. Earlier in the night, a restaurant manager called on a male suspect that was in and out of a Chevy Blazer, and was pulling on several car doors in the parking lot.
A vehicle with an adult and a juvenile inside was stopped on Cliff Road and Slater Road. The vehicle was confirmed stolen by Minneapolis police. The car was impounded at Mark's Towing. The adult suspect allegedly admitted taking the car from Lake Street by stealing a key out of the victim's home. The juvenile was allegedly listed as a runaway and was returned home. The juvenile was not charged.
A female victim was being harassed via Facebook Nov. 24. The victim's friend created the Facebook account since the victim did not have a computer; the account was kept on public settings and was allegedly being abused. The friend was spoken to at an Eagan middle school and agreed to close the account. There are no charges pending.
Cement was allegedly thrown through a glass door on the 4100 block of Braddock Trail. The mess was cleaned up before reported.
