Karina blogs her final time as Eagan Funfest Ambassador

Being confident in yourself, being approachable, being a confident speaker, seeing your inner beauty, being able to help the community, having lifelong friends, people who love and care for you and seeing the spark in everyone’s eyes is probably all that a girl could want or need. A crown, sash and some fancy dresses are just an added bonus. My reign as an Eagan Funfest Ambassador has almost come to the end but I will NOT forget all and everything I have learned and gained this past year! The beautiful ladies Sarah, Izzy, Ashlyn, Katherine and Julia who I work with at every event have been absolutely marvelous! We make each other laugh, make fun of each other and we share some of the most interesting times together! I will never forget how I’ve blossomed into a young lady. I have gained a much much more confident personality than what I already had. Also I hope to continue blossoming into a very respectable woman. My smile is brighter and bigger with every picture. Passion thriving and love growing. I want to thank everyone who has made this year possible for me. I would not be the person I am today without you. My future can only get brighter with all of the skills and manners I have learned from you this year! The one thing I will never forget was the day all six of us were sitting in the six specially marked seats for the newly crowned ambassadors the one thought pulsing around in my mind at that moment was “is this really happening?!” I could not explain my feelings! I encourage anyone who would like to find themselves through community service and would want to meet tons of new people and friends to try the Eagan Funfest Ambassador program it is tons of fun and totally worth your time.
