My year as an Eagan Funfest Ambassador has been filled with many fun experiences and it is truly going by so fast. I cannot believe that the next candidacy is coming up so soon which means handing down my crown to the new Eagan Funfest Ambassador. This year has been an absolute blast. I really grew close to my other fellow Ambassadors whom I proudly call my sisters for life. We became best friends and I will miss everyone so much. These great bonds with the many people I've met along the way were way out of my imagination at the beginning. But throughout all of the fun events and activities that we have done together brought us all together. I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to be a part of this amazing program that helped me make a difference in people's lives and in my community. I'm also thankful for what I have gained personally throughout this whole experience. My self- confidence and speaking skills have greatly improved with meeting so many new people and volunteering at all of the fun events this year. Handing down my crown will be bittersweet because of course I'll miss being a current Ambassador but I'm also looking forward to meeting the girl that I crown and see what she can bring to the program and also the personal growth that comes along with it. I will keep these memories in my heart forever and skills that last a lifetime.
