Vikings Player Hospitalized With COVID-19, Had Trouble Breathing
The Minnesota Vikings player was rushed to the emergency room Tuesday night with COVID-19, head coach Mike Zimmer said.

EAGAN, MN — Minnesota Vikings guard Dakota Dozier was hospitalized Tuesday night with COVID-19. The player had trouble breathing, head coach Mike Zimmer announced during a news conference Wednesday morning.
Zimmer declined to identify the player, but ESPN reporter Courtney Cronin was told by a source that the player is Dozier. Dozier is vaccinated.
He is "stable" now, according to Zimmer, but is still in the hospital.

"One of our players that was vaccinated, he had to go to the ER last night because of COVID. I mean, it's serious stuff," Zimmer said.
"I don't know, like 29 guys are getting tested because of close contact, including myself."
