• Back-to-school time for Eden Prairie students (eplocalnews.org) — Eden Prairie families just sent more than 10,000 students back into local classrooms and online programs, with buses rolling out before sunrise on Sept. 8. District leaders say energy was high as preschoolers through high schoolers, plus TASSEL and EP Online students, kicked off the 2026-27 year across Eden Prairie's six elementary schools, Central Middle School and Eden Prairie High School.
   

• Eden Prairie sets preliminary levy increase at 2.9% (eplocalnews.org) — Eden Prairie's proposed 2027 property tax levy increase is capped at 2.9%, one of the lowest among similar Twin Cities suburbs and likely to be finalized in December. Depending on home value, residents could see tax changes from flat to about 6–7%, as the city balances rising residential values with stable services, parks, housing programs and fire staffing.
   

• How the Minnesota Top 25 fared in Week 2 (startribune.com) — Eden Prairie's football team stayed perfect at 2-0 with a late touchdown pass from Mason Hemmesch to Phillip Moita, sealing a 21-14 win over Maple Grove in the Minnesota Top 25 rankings.
