CPR Week
A week of free CPR courses offered in Chaska November 17-21 from 6pm-9pm. Pick a night to come and learn CPR.
November 17-21
The medical careers program of the SouthWest Metro Educational Cooperative will put on a week of CPR classes November 17-21. Attendees can pick a night of the week that works for them--the class only takes 3 hours--to learn the life-saving skills of CPR. The classes will cover the American Heart Association’s Adult Heartsaver CPR and AED and go from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The class is open to the community in general (13 years and older).
We are happy to provide this training for free but donations will be appreciated. If participants desire an American Heart Association CPR card that is valid for 2 years, there is a minimum fee of $5 to cover the cost of the card. Cards will be mailed out the week after the class.

Classes will take place at SWMetro at 401 East 4th Street in Chaska, MN. Participants can park in the parking lot that is near the government center and enter at door 8.
CPR Week classes only cover the basics of Adult CPR and AED use. If you are looking for additional training, we will offer a First Aid class December 2, 2014 and a Healthcare Provider CPR class December 4, each for $35 (or $60 for both). These are discounted prices as these courses are offered in this area for $44-$59 a class. If you are interested, we can put together custom classes for 8-25 people that can be held at our facility or at your location. We can offer Adult/child/infant CPR, Professional CPR, First Aid, EMR, and EMT (full class or refreshers). These opportunities allow the students to deepen their medical knowledge by acting as teaching assistants for these classes.
