Join us for the seventh-annual Minnehaha Creek Cleanup! Together with Leinenkugels and our nonprofit partner, Metro Blooms, we intend to pick up at least two tons of trash from around the creek and Minneapolis Chain of Lakes. RSVP at www.minnehahacreek.org/CleanUp.
When: Sunday, June 30 at 9 a.m.
Where: Lake Hiawatha Park (46th Street and 28th Avenue South in Minneapolis)
Who: All volunteers are welcome! This is a family-friendly event. Schedule of Events:
- 9 a.m.: Free bagel breakfast
- 9:30 a.m.: Board buses to cleanup locations along creek and chain of lakes
- 11-11:30 a.m.: Return to Lake Hiawatha for free BBQ lunch provided by Leinenkugel’s
- 11:45 a.m.: Prizes for kids and adults, including a Leinenkugel’s canoe
