Jojo Needs a New Joint

This miniature poodle is available for adoption through Secondhand Hounds.

Jojo may be 11 years old, but his foster mom says this miniature poodle has lots of life in him. He and his brother Charley were placed with Edina-based rescue organization Secondhand Hounds after their owner fell ill and could no longer care for them.

Claire McGoldrick, Jojo’s foster mom, said that, despite his age, Jojo has adjusted well to living with her dog and he makes fast friends with everyone he meets.

“Jojo will be a great dog for someone who is looking for a low maintenance, loving dog to add to the family,” McGoldrick said.

An affectionate and attentive pup, Jojo likes to cuddle and give kisses, and he’ll always be there to greet you at the door. His brother Charlie is much the same. Jojo and Charlie would prefer to stay together and can be adopted as a pair for a reduced adoption fee.

Jojo and Charley are available for adoption through Secondhand Hounds. If you are interested in meeting these pups, fill out an adoption application on the Secondhand Hounds website. Since it was founded in August of 2009, Secondhand Hounds has placed more than 1,500 pets in forever homes.
