Alicia will 'Make You Fall in Love'

Part of an unwanted litter, Alicia is the last of her group to be adopted—though no one at rescue organization Secondhand Hounds could tell you why. 

Calm, sweet and amiable with dogs, cats and people, Secondhand Hounds’ Bethany Madlo said she "will absolutely make you fall in love."

Alicia shows little of the typical rambunctiousness of her age, and instead is mellow and affectionate, wanting only to cuddle and relax with her people most of the time. However, she does enjoy walks and, though it’s not typical for either of her breeds, Alicia loves being in the water. She can be timid and a little nervous in unfamiliar situations, but has never displayed aggression and is comfortable once she knows what’s going on. Madlo said she’s even been submissive to her cat. 

"She's been great with my cat, wants to play, but that's all," Madlo said. "The cat tells her what for and she leaves him alone."
