Schrader & Companies selected Twin Cities Remodeler of the Year!
Edina Resident Andy Schrader wins prestigious award.
The Builders Association of the Twin Cities (BATC) Remodelers, a council of BATC, hosted a gala banquet at The St. Paul Hotel to announce the winners of their 31st Annual Remodeler of Merit Awards (ROMA). At the same time BATC announced Schrader & Companies as the winner of their 2012 Remodeler of the Year Award.
The Remodeler of the Year award is one of the three most coveted honors given to BATC members (The Builders & Associate of the Year being the other two). The award is bestowed upon the remodeling firm that has received the highest ratings by a panel of 20 BATC members with which they do business. They are evaluated on trust, communication, loyalty, and ethics.
St. Louis Park based Schrader & Companies is a Custom Home Building and Remodeling Company specializing in upscale new home construction and mid-to-high end home renovation projects in and around Minneapolis and the western suburbs.
Company founder Andy Schrader has been involved in designing and building homes for over fifteen years. He grew up in Edina watching his father succeed in the interior design business. He had a technical interest in home building in college which led to a job framing houses for a reputable Twin City builder. Like father like son his creative side took over. Combining his onsite technical knowledge and creativity, he took up designing and managing home construction. After extensive practice under leading Twin City architectural firms Andy created Schrader & Companies in 2004.
Schrader & Companies projects have been featured in Midwest Home, Mpls/St. Paul, and Spaces magazines as well as on international design site Houzz.com. In addition, the company has been showcased on Fox9 Morning News, Twin Cities Live, and the award winning Today’s Builder TV shows. The company consistently participates on annual home tours such as The Luxury Home Tour, The Parade of Homes, and Remodelers Showcase.
Schrader & Companies is currently working on several projects in and around Edina with their latest full home renovation project in Golden Valley selected as the “Dream Remodel” for the 2012 Fall Parade of Homes Remodeler’s Tour. This project will be showcased Sept. 28-30.
