Tech Dump, a free electronic waste recycling event, will be held at Southdale Center Park and Ride lot near the intersection of York Ave. and 69th St. on October 29 from 9am to 5pm. Tech Dump will accept computers, laptops, mice, cell phones, keyboards, routers, switches, servers, flat panel monitors, external and internal peripherals and other computer-related devices. Broken and obsolete items as well as hardware in good working condition will be accepted. A tax deductible receipt will be given for each donation and a Certificate of Destruction for data storing devices will be furnished to the donor upon request. CRT monitors and TVs will not be accepted.

Tech Dump is hosted by Jobs Foundation and Southdale Center. Jobs Foundation is a non-profit organization that is a registered e-waste collector with Hennepin County and the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency. The Jobs Foundation supports underserved adults through self-funded enterprises such as the recycling of electronic wast and sales of donated items.
