At Least 10 Edina Residents Present at Boston Marathon

Two explosions rocked the race's finish line at 1:45 p.m. CST Monday.

Two explosions at the Boston Marathon finish line hurt numerous people Monday.

The explosion took place at about 1:45 p.m. three hours after the winners crossed the finish line. As of Monday night, at least three people, including a child, had been killed and more than 100 people were injured.

The following Edina residents were in the race, according to the Boston Athletic Association:

Another Edina runner, 29-year-old Ellen Gans, was about a half mile from the finish line when the race stopped, according to Minnesota Public Radio. She told MPR:

Everyone's asking each other what's going on. And someone had said something about a bomb earlier, maybe 20 minutes before, but I think it was that everyone thought that it was just that someone had placed a bomb threat.
