Behold, Earl of Sandwich
This Puggle is available for adoption through Secondhand Hounds.
Earl is a friendly, silly Puggle (a cross between a Pug and a Beagle) who lost his home but not his pleasant personality. Earl was picked up as a stray and, when no one came forward to claim him, animal rescue organization Secondhand Hounds took him in with the goal of finding him a new home.
Estimated to be between 8 and 9 years old, Earl does very well with kids and other dogs and loves to be outside. He enjoys walks and chasing squirrels or just relaxing in the sun. His favorite thing to do, though, is eat. Because of this, Earl put on some weight in the past but is now working it off.
Erin Harvey, Earl’s foster mom, has been taking care of him for the past five months as he waits for his forever home.

“He came into the rescue being a little on the chunky side but has now lost some weight and is more active then ever,” Harvey said.
If you are interested in adopting Earl and helping him continue to make friends and get fit, fill out an adoption application on the Secondhand Hounds website.
