This is the most unique garden tour in Hennepin County. In 2008, master gardeners set out to create a new type of garden tour –an educational
garden tour. Each year the tour features gardens that differ in size, scale,
design, and functionality. Each garden has at least one interactive demonstration. Our experienced master gardeners willingly share their knowledge with you. All of the gardens were designed, built, and maintained by the master gardener homeowner, who will be on site to answer your questions.

On July 14th you can visit all eleven gardens and view a wide range of garden styles, from an adorable cottage to a grand estate. Learn about the latest gardening techniques, the University of Minnesota’s current seed trials, vegetable gardening, shoreline restoration, native plants, outdoor rooms, living mulch, and much more! Don’t miss it!

Watch this space for a description of each garden.
