This year’s book features Oxymoron, Bruce Stillman’s kinetic sculpture, on the cover with an array of colorful autumn trees in the background. It won first place in the People’s Choice Award. The back cover depicts The Pinecone, located at Centennial Lakes Park, standing out from a December foggy morning. A collage of artists installing their art, located on the back page, highlights the extensive work to install the exhibition.

This is my 14th self-published book and one in which I take great pride. Over 100 hours of photography time, writing and editing went in to the production of the book. The second edition includes most of the photos from the first book with a few changes. Six additional pages accommodate the 11 new sculptures in this year’s exhibit. The sculptures are grouped by year as well as the three locations, Grandview Square Park (2006), The Promenade (2009) and 50th & France (2012).
My intention is that people purchase this coffee table book either as a way to sustain the appreciation of public art in our city as a but as a gift item. It also makes a perfect book for medical, banking and other business office waiting rooms showing prospective businesses, residents and visitors Edina’s artistic commitment.
