EYJA Joggling Meet Held at Edina Track

The Edina Youth Juggling Association sponsored a youth joggling meet last month at Kuhlman Field.

Approximately 20 youth jugglers gathered at on Saturday morning, July 7, for friendly competition in their 2nd annual EYJA joggling meet.

For the uninitiated, joggling is running and juggling at the same time. Jugglers compete in all the usual track meets: 100 yard dash, 4x100 relays and the mile, all while juggling balls and clubs.

The youth jugglers all participate in Jugheads, a local youth juggling program with 130 student participants. The week of July 17, they competed in similar joggling events at the International Juggling Association Juggling Festival in Winston-Salem.
