Hello. This is the Southdale Hennepin County Library's first blog in the Edina Patch. My colleague Jeanne and I will announce upcoming events at the library and also share Southdale librarians' book reviews, information-finding tips and other items of interest with you.

KIDS
Chess Club for Kids
6:30-8:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, Feb. 8, 22; March 7, 21; April 4, 18
Have fun learning the basics of chess, improving your game, mastering strategies and meeting other chess fans. Walk-ins welcome. We meet every other Wednesday in the Ethel Berry Meeting Room.
