Hello Neighbors, A lot of parents in the West Metro have been asking us about indoor sports for kids, especially for kids who want something active but different from hockey or basketball! At Boast Squash, we run an active junior squash program where kids ages 5 and up learn a fast-paced indoor racquet sport that builds fitness, coordination, and focus. Many of our beginner players come from tennis, hockey, soccer, or just kids who like to run and play. Because squash is still new to many families, we’re hosting a FREE “Try Squash” session for kids this month so they can experience the game before committing to anything. • Ages 5–12 welcome • Equipment provided • No experience needed • Small group coaching.&nbsp; If your child enjoys active sports or you’re just curious about squash, feel free to comment or message we’ll share the details. We love introducing local kids to a really fun, healthy sport they can play for life. Kiddie Academy of Edina will host STEM Adventures on Saturday, May 2 at 10 a.m. in conjunction with its grand reopening celebration. Families of children ages 2 and up are invited to attend this free event to participate in several hands-on, play-based activities focusing on science, technology, engineering and math.&nbsp;
Participating Academies will facilitate STEM activities like bowling, making and flying paper airplanes, participating in a bouncing ball rodeo or creating a ping pong ball launcher.
