Founded by Deborah Peteler, AnnapurnaBlue offers transformative wellness retreats and programs designed for individuals navigating life transitions, health challenges, emotional overwhelm, and personal reinvention. With over 30 years of experience in trauma-informed care and holistic wellness practices, Deborah blends ancient wisdom with modern therapeutic approaches to create safe, supportive environments where real healing can take place. Our retreats — held both locally in Minnesota and internationally — are intentionally designed to help participants slow down, reflect, and reconnect with themselves. Through gentle Qigong movement, meditation, sound healing, breathwork, mindset sessions, and meaningful group dialogue, participants gain tools to manage stress, navigate change, and build emotional resilience. AnnapurnaBlue is especially supportive of women ages 35–70+ navigating grief, life-altering illness, menopause, empty nesting, career transitions, and other profound shifts. Special Friends of the Southdale Library sale Friday August 16 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The Friends of the Southdale Library is holding a special sale of music CDs and children's books this Friday! We received a huge (hundreds, maybe 1000) donation of CDs. Much of the collection is classical music with a lot of opera and symphonic music. There is also a large selection of jazz/blues and big band music. CDs will be sold at $2 per disc. Also at the sale will be a large selection of children's books removed from the library collection. This is a good opportunity for teachers and day care providers to stock up on books at a bargain price. Most books will be $1 or less.
