Christmas on Copper Street

After four years of performing their wildly popular holiday concerts in the Twin Cities, The CSBQ adds two additional “Christmas on Copper Street” performances during the 2013 holiday season.

This joyous holiday concert celebrates the stories, songs, and sounds of the season. Through the quintet’s totally unique and original arrangements for brass, you’ll revisit music from favorite childhood movies and TV specials like The Nutcracker, The Grinch, and A Charlie Brown Christmas.

The group will also perform traditional carols and songs like Jingle Bells, Carol of the Bells, and Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas with unique touches that always get audience members singing along and tapping their toes. Not only are the members of the quintet virtuoso musicians on their brass instruments, but they also perform on piano, guitar, and percussion.

The CSBQ is performing this concert at three beautiful Twin Cities area churches: Faith Lutheran Church in Waconia on December 7 at 7:00pm, Crossview Lutheran Church in Edina on December 21 at 7:00pm, and Hennepin Avenue United Methodist Church in Minneapolis on December 22 at 4:00pm. Choose the concert that is perfect for your family!

Ranging from traditional holiday music to new, jazzy arrangements of familiar carols, “Christmas on Copper Street” has something for everyone and celebrates the magic and wonder of the season.

$15 for a single ticket or $10 as part of a season package. Visit http://www.csbq.org for more info.
