Last Thursday with the snow coming down 60 players from the boy and girls lacrosse team came together and packaged food for the Feed My Starving Children's program. They worked hard and completed almost 2,000 of the prepackaged meals. The food is packaged in small pouches. It is a easy-to-prepare food blend that has won rave reviews all over the world. While the formula was designed to save the lives of severely malnourished and starving children, the ingredients also improve the health, growth and physical well-being of children who are no longer in immediate danger of starvation.
The players learned a lot about world starvations and how their contributions of time can make the world a better place.
