(PHOTOS) Edina Boys Cross Country Takes 3rd at State
The Hornets girls team took 8th at the Class AA state meet on Saturday.
The Edina boys cross country team took third at the Class AA state championship on Saturday at St. Olaf College in Northfield.
The Hornets finished the state meet with 129 team points, behind champion Stillwater’s 92 point performance and Burnsville’s 115 points.
Junior Will Burke led the way for the Hornets, finishing sixth overall in the 5-kilometer race with a 16:01.6 time.

Hornets girls team takes 8th place
The Edina girls cross country team placed eighth on Saturday in the Class AA state championships at St. Olaf College in Northfield.
The Hornets finished with 206 total points. State champion Monticello finished with 93 points, and Lakeville South took second at 118 points.
Senior Piper Bain finished 18th for the Hornets. Bain finished the 4-kilometer race in 15:05.0.
