Edina, Minn., July 29, 2020 – The Edina City Council will hold an electronic work session and meeting Wednesday, Aug. 5.

The work session will be held 5:30 p.m. for the Council to meet with the Planning Commission. Members of the public can listen to the work session by calling 833-360-0793 with Conference ID 2579222.

Members of the public can participate in “Community Comment” or the public hearings by calling 800-374-0221 with Conference ID 7797847 during the meeting. Public hearings are scheduled for the Council to consider:

  • Site Plan at 3451 Parklawn Ave. for York Gardens Senior Living
  • Zoning ordinance amendments regarding setbacks in the Greater Southdale Area, building material requirements, requirement for affordable housing in commercial zoning districts, Design Experience Guidelines, and the number of required garage stalls for single-family residences

To participate in Community Comment or testify during a public hearing, press *1 on your telephone keypad after connecting to the conference. An operator will mute your line and place you into a queue until it is your turn to speak. After the public hearings, the call will end.
