Edina City Council To Meet On July 21

The Edina City Council will hold an electronic work session and meeting Tuesday, July 21.

The work session will be held 5:30 p.m. for the Council to talk about local speed limits and have a closed session to discuss pending litigation. Members of the public can listen to the open portion of the work session by calling 833-360-0793 with Conference ID 1065005.

Members of the public can participate in “Community Comment” or the public hearings by calling 800-374-0221 with Conference ID 2898269 during the meeting. Public hearings are scheduled for the Council to consider:

  • Drainage right-of-way easement vacations at 6000 Fox Meadow Lane and 4805 Sunnyslope Road
  • Street right-of-way easement vacation at Duggan Plaza
  • Sale of City-owned land to the Edina Housing Foundation
  • Zoning ordinance amendment allowing taprooms, wineries, distilleries and cocktail rooms in the Planned Office District-2 (POD-2)
  • Conditional-use permit with variance for 4425 Valley View Road

To participate in Community Comment or testify during a public hearing, press *1 on your telephone keypad after connecting to the conference. An operator will mute your line and place you into a queue until it is your turn to speak. After the public hearings, the call will end.
