Edina Football Association Celebrating 50 Years

While homecoming is still one week away, football fans as well as current and former Hornets will be swarming the fields next to and the in celebration of the Edina Football Association's 50th anniversary.

From 4:30-7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 14, the Edina Football Association will be hosting a celebration of 50 years of Hornet football. The fundraiser will be taking place just before the Hornets kick off against Lakeville South in what is sure to be a great game.

The event will include a silent auction, raffles and food for hungry fans. As an added bonus, any Edina Football Association players wearing their jerseys—in addition to Edina Football Association alumni—will be treated to a free meal.

Zach Budish, Edina graduate and , will be on hand during the event to talk with attendees and sign autographs. The Army will be presenting an obstacle course as well as other family-friendly events, while Twin Cities radio station KTWIN will be broadcasting on-site.
