Edina High School, 'American Idol' Alum to Perform at Pageant
Paris Bennett is set to join Ruben Studdard at this weekend's Miss Black Minnesota USA Scholarship Pageant.

A pair of American Idol stars will be taking the stage at nearby this Saturday during the Miss Black Minnesota USA Scholarship Pageant.
Ruben Studdard, who won Idol’s season 2 in 2003, and Paris Bennett, an and 2005 Idol finalist, will both perform during the pageant in the high school’s auditorium, according to the organization.
Tony Award-winning actress and jazz singer Mzuri Moyo is also scheduled to perform—as is jazz artist Wenso Ashby.

A VIP Red Carpet preview starts at 4:30 p.m., with a VIP reception beginning at 5 p.m. General adminission begins at 5:30 p.m., and starts at 6 p.m.
