Edina Man Caught Stealing $430 in Jewelry from Herberger's

Monday, Aug. 13
- Police responded to the 4400 block of Parklawn Avenue on a report of a disturbance
- Police responded to the 4800 block of West 50th Street on a report of a found wallet.
- Police responded to the 7200 block of Cahill Road on a report of a lost fanny pack.
- Police responded to the 5200 block of Dundee Road on a report of theft. An unknown person reportedly stole an undetermined amount of property from the residence at some point in the last year.
- Police responded to the 4200 block of Lynn Avenue on a report of a lost trumpet.
- Police responded to the 6200 block of Creek Valley Road on a report of a lost ring.
- A 26-year-old Hastings man was arrested for 4th degree DWI after his vehicle was stopped on westbound Hwy. 62 near Tracy Avenue.

- Police responded to the 7700 block of Cahill Road on a report of vehicle theft. An unknown person reportedly stole a Honda Accord valued at $2,000.
- Police responded to the intersection of Rutledge and Brookside avenues on a report of a possible vehicle fire. The small fire was extinguished, according to police.
- Police responded to the 4800 block of West 50th Street on a report of a found cash card.
- A 21-year-old Edina man was arrested for theft after attempting to steal $429.98 in jewelry from the at . Store employees observed him trying to leave the store with the jewelry concealed on his person and detained him until police could respond.
- Police responded to the 5800 block of Long Brake Trail on a report of theft. An unknown person stole a pressure washer, power cord and dryvac valued at $550 in total from a residence.
- A 23-year-old Bloomington man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana after his vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation in the 6800 block of France Avenue South.
Wednesday, Aug. 15
- A 25-year-old Inver Grove Heights man was arrested for 4th degree DWI and possession of a controlled substance after his vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation in the 7300 block of southbound Hwy. 100.
- A 56-year-old Bloomington resident was arrested for theft after attempting to steal $54 in jewelry from the store at Southdale Center.
- Police responded to the 5100 block of Skyline Drive on a report of found Visa card.
- Two 12-year-old boys were arrested for theft after attempting to steal shorts and a shirt valued at $40 from at Southdale Center.
- Police responded to the 7700 block of France Avenue South on a report of a stolen catalytic converter valued at $350.
