Edina Police Registering Residents for Citizens' Academy
Sept. 9 is the last day to register.

The fall session of the Edina Police Department's "Citizens' Academy" starts on Sept. 12.
The 11-week interactive course uses presentations, demonstrations and hands-on learning to give Edina residents and community members an intimate knowledge of the workings and challenges of the police department.
“It was an awesome experience,” Lori Lohmann, a previous participant of the academy, said in a statement. “It gave a clearer picture of what our police do to ensure our community is safe.”
