Edina Runners Represent at Grandma's Marathon
Nearly 50 Edina residents completed Grandma's Marathon on Saturday, June 16.
Runners from all over flocked to Duluth this past weekend to participate in the 36th annual Grandma's Marathon.
Berhanu Girma, 25, was the fastest male finisher with a time of 2:12:24. Everlyne Lagat, 31, finished first for the women with a time of 2:33:13.
Edina was well represented in the race, with a total of 49 locals running in the marathon.

Locally, 42-year-old Derek Rogers was the top male finisher with a time of 3:12:03. Dana Oelfke, 29, was the fastest female to finish the race with a time of 3:32:19.
