Edina Sweeps Elk River, Headed to Tennis Finals
The Hornets are one win away from their 15th straight state title.

The Edina girls tennis team rolled past Elk River in the Class AA state semifinals on Wednesday morning, topping the Elks 7-0 and advancing to the state championship match.
The Hornets will face either Rosemount or Rochester Mayo at 4 p.m. on Wednesday at the University of Minnesota Baseline Tennis Center.
Edina beat Mounds View 7-0 in the quarterfinals, then topped Elk River by the same margin. If the Hornets win the championship, it will be their 15th straight state championship.
