Last May the State Legislature voted to place before voters an amendment that would place a permanent government ban on marriage for same-sex couples in Minnesota. Since then over 600 faith, business, labor, progressive, and nonpartisan organizations, communities of color, current and former elected officials, Republicans, DFLers, Greens, Independents, and Libertarians have come together to defeat this amendment.

Residents of Edina have stepped up in a massive way. From local government to local businesses, communities of faith, civic leaders, students and so many others, Edina is helping to lead the way.
You can be a part of this unprecedented grassroots movement as well! On Sunday, September 23 join with Minnesotans all across our state for one of more than 300 house parties. Your presence will help show the strength and diversity of this campaign. Please join us. This campaign will be an expensive one that will require the generosity of all our supporters.
